Hi Marsha,
I know of at least one case where a Loyalist entered the lottery and was
given land but it was protested when his Loyalist position was brought to
light and the land grant was revoked.

Here's a question for you experts on the land lotteries. I am wondering
if a person could have actually entered the lotteries if they had been a
Loyalist during the rev war as opposed to a Patriot. Or did the folks
involved care about a person's political leanings?
