Hi Everyone:
I have only traced my Freeds back to about 1850. Samuel Freed, born 1850 in
Indiana, married my great-grandmother, Inger Miller, somewhere between 1877
and 1880. They had a daughter, Julia A. Freed in 1883 in Champaign County, IL.
In 1896, Sam had a heat stroke and spent the rest of his life in Peoria State
Hospital, Peoria, IL until 1910. My GGrandmother, Inger Freed, went back to
Urbana, IL until her death in 1938. If anyone has any information on this
family, I would appreciate hearing from you.
