David, do you have the names of parents of Alexander Frame born Hamilton
1830. There was an Alexander Frame amongst the children of my John Frame
and Marion Wilson of Hamilton and he was born in Glasgow in 1877. They were
married 1862 in Liverpool but John the son of William Smellie Frame and
Janet King was born in Hamilton and Marion Wilson was also born in Hamilton.
I think John, a slater, went to Liverpool seeking work. We are not sure of
the origin of the Alexander name in their family. I have recorded a lot of
Frame names in the 1841,51,61,71,81 census records but had not recorded your
Alexander and Euphemia. I am trying to find a connection anywhere to search
further back than William (Smallie) Frame who died 1860 Hamilton. His first
wife gggg grandmother Janet King died 1834 - 1841c. William Smellie
(Smallie) Frame's DC said that his parents were William Smillie Frame and
Janet Smillie and that he was 57. There could be a connection At what
address were your Frame family in Hamilton. I can always check the 1851
census as I have a friend with the fisch of Lanarkshire except for Glasgow.
