Thank you for the information you posted. I was hoping so much that it was part of my tree, but I can't find a connection yet. I am hoping that they are cousins. Your George Seitz is older than mine. I wonder if he is a brother to the Michael Seitz that I am looking for. My George Seitz was born in 1851 and married a Catherine Hauk in 1872. But his father Michael Seitz was born in 1821. I would imagine that he would know people in Ontario when choosing to immigrate there. Do you know any further info on any of George's siblings or parents?
Once again, thank you so much for the information you took the time to post. I hope that I can find a connection and merge it into my tree. The Seitz in that area may all be related somehow. I am amazed at the kindness of people trying to help me!! Thank you,
