Looking for relatives of my grt. grandfather, Peter Kohl whom imigrated from Alsace, Lorraine to New York around 1879. Interested in what my grt. grandmother's name was. He had sons by the name of Stephen, Nicholas and Claus and a daughter by the name of Kate. Stephen Kohl was engaged to a Nellie Freeman (my grandmother)and he lated died from some type of accident and Stephen's brother Nicholas ended up marrying my grandmother and that's when my father Fred Kohl was born (1909). They lived in Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota. Peter Kohl is buried in Iowa. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. My e-mail address is:
