Actually, I know something about Hechler family since I did a thesis on William Henry Hechler for university. William was Theodor's half brother and yes his father was an Anglican clergyman originally from Vogisheim. Later William Hechler was chaplain to the British Embassy in Vienna and there became quite famous for helping Theodor Herzl.

I may have a picture of Theodor somewhere along with some other information about Deitrich and the family.
