Hello, I know, the reply to this message is a little late, but I just started searching for ancestors. I am writing from Germany and I think we are looking for the same Hausauer's. My Infos are: Michael Hausauer, born 1810, Alsace, died 1884 in Alton, Waseca, Minnesota. He came as a widower to USA, with 3 of his 4 children from his first marriage. The names of those 3 where Bertha, Blanche and Michael.
The name of his 2nd wife was Margaret Jordy Gerde (hard to read, don't know if the last name is right), born 1831, died 1922. Both, Michael and Margaret are buried in St. Peter Cemetery in New Richland, Waseca County, Minnesota.
Their children are:
George Wilhelm, Henry, Eliza, Katherine, Mary and John William

Now I hope, I could help and also hope to get more information from ANYBODY !!! The only Hausauer's I find, are the ones who emigrated to Russia but not straight away to USA.
Who are Michael Hausauers parents, where was he born, the same about his 2nd wife???!!!
