Hi,
Looking for Gittere, perhaps Guitre in Alsace. Joseph and Wife ??? and family Joseph, Jacob, Nicholas and Anthony, came to Buffalo, Ny in the early 1830's , I think!
Any info in your book? Hoping you still have it on loan, otherwise I will check it out at our main library in Buffalo!
