Pleasant Fouts is buried in the potter's field at Ft. Madison State Penitentiary in Lee County, IA in an unmarked grave. I understand the records concerning burials at the prison were destroyed in a fire, so cannot be of more help than this. Pleasant and his wife Ruth Ann Murray Fouts had two daughters, Deborah and Emilia, who were raised by various relatives untill their marriages. I believe Milly to have married a Mr. Snow, thought to have the first name of Nicodemus, although that is still subject to proof.Deborah married a Roberts or Robertson in Bowers Mill, MO.
