This poll is being conducted by the FOOTE List Administrator.

There are currently 109 subscribers to the FOOTE-L mailing list and
39 subscribers to the FOOTE-D mail digest.

A majority of posts to the FOOTE List appear to relate to descendants
of Nathaniel FOOTE I who was born about 1593 in Colchester, England,
married Elizabeth DEMMING and died in 1644 in Wethersfield, CT.

A smaller, but significant number of posts to the FOOTE List relate
to descendants of Pasco FOOTE (who some believe to have been a
brother or other close relative of Nathaniel).

Still other posts relate to English or Australian FOOTE lines, or to
U.S./Canadian FOOTEs who have not been able to connect their lines to
either Nathaniel or Pasco.

To get a better idea of who is researching which FOOTE lines,
subscribers to FOOTE-L and FOOTE-D are asked to respond this poll.

In the body of your message put either "Nathaniel" or "Pasco" or
"Other". If you put "Other", please list (if you know) the
name/dates/place/spouse of your oldest known FOOTE ancestor. In
addition to the above, you may or may not wish to include a *brief*
line of descent from Nathaniel, Pasco or your oldest known FOOTE
ancestor (example below):
