I am looking for information on the ancestry of Ulrich Flickinger, born abt. 1707, presumably in Switzerland, but possibly Germany. Died in Egypt, Northampton County, PA in 1792.

I have seen lots of "evidence" about who his parents were, but most of it looks pretty suspect to me. Does anyone have any hard facts to support his ancestry? I am also trying to find out the maiden name of his wife, Ludecia (aka Lucy, Lucia, Luce, etc.)

I am a direct descendant through Ulrich and Ludecia's son George (aka Georg), who married Anna Eva Ortt and their daughter, Maria Barbara, who married Christoff Kelchner.
