M T Fletcher was born January 4 , 1845 , Dewitt County , Illinois.

Came to Canton , McPherson County , Kansas February 1881. August of 1881 , M.T. Fletcher and William Gray ( my line ) opened a bank.

M. T. married Charity Chapin of Dewitt County , Illinois , December 20, 1870.

To this union was born Laura M. , Estella E. and George M.
