Norman Buschman, 87 Beverly Hills

Norman Henry Buschman, 87, of Beverly Hills, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005, in Beverly Hills.

Born in Fort Wayne, Ind., to George W. and Anna (Ellebeck) Buschman, he moved here in 1995 from Churubusco, Ind.

Mr. Buschman owned and operated Buschman Cleaners for 35 years in Churubusco, Ind., and worked at Winn-Dixie grocery store in Beverly Hills for seven years until 2000.

He was a former member and past president of Churubusco Rotary Club.

He enjoyed golfing with his friends.

He was a founding member of Faith Lutheran Church in Churubusco, Ind., and a member of First Lutheran Church in Inverness.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian H. Buschman, in May 1993.

Survivors include his son, David D. Buschman and wife, Rosemary, of Ocala; and daughter, Crystal A. Buschman of Beverly Hills.

Robert Edson Sr., 83 Inverness


Robert Carver Edson Sr., 83, of Inverness, died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2005, in Arbor Trail Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

A native of Dunnellon, he was born Feb. 22, 1922, to the late John Orvid and Lottie (Spires) Edson Sr., and was a lifetime resident of this area.

He served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II and retired from the construction industry as a heavy equipment operator.

He was a member of the Floral City Masonic Lodge No. 133, where he was Past Master (50-year member) and the American Legion Posts in Orlando and Floral City.

He was Pentecostal.

Survivors include two sons, Jack Edson and wife, Peggy, of Knoxville, Tenn., and Robert Edson Jr. and wife, Vicky, of Inverness; two daughters, Frances Dolbow and husband, Dick, of Inverness and Brenda Kennedy and husband, Robert, of Tampa; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his devoted friend and caretaker, Helen "Bunny" Monaco of Inverness.

Robert Haras, 76 Chicago


Robert Joseph Haras, 76, of Chicago, Ill., former resident of Crystal River for over 25 years, died Friday, Sept. 9, 2005, in Chicago.

He was born Aug. 13, 1929, in Chicago, Ill.

Mr. Haras was a graduate of West Point Military Academy and served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army.

He was predeceased by one grandchild, Hope.

Survivors include his daughter, Alexsandra Galic and husband, Tihomir Galic; and two grandchildren, Talyn Emerson and Quinn Galic.

Lloyd Hawkins, 91 Inverness


Lloyd Grant Hawkins, 91, of Inverness, died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005, at his home.

A native of Chesterfield, Ohio, he was born Oct. 8, 1913, to the late Homer and Maude (Moog) Hawkins and moved to this area in 1981 from Clayton, Mich.

Mr. Hawkins was a farmer and a member of the Michigan Farm Bureau.

He was Seventh-day Adventist.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Mildred E. Hawkins of Inverness; one son, David L. Hawkins and wife, Caroline, of Auburndale; three daughters, Shirlie Heiney and husband, Fred, of Ottawa Lake, Mich., Betty Breakey of Eaton Rapids, Mich., and Joan May and husband, Charles, of Huntsville, Ala.; one brother, Donald Hawkins and wife, Eva, of Hicksville, Ohio; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Emily Mather, 86 Homosassa


Emily DeLooze Mather, 86, of Homosassa, died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2005, in Inverness.

Born April 26, 1919, in Warrington, England, to Walter and Ethel DeLooze, she moved here in 2000 from St. Pete Beach.

She was a retired hairdresser.

She loved to travel extensively and enjoyed needlepoint.

She was Episcopalian.

Her husband, John J. Mather, preceded her in death on Jan. 4, 2002.

Survivors include her son, Anthony Mather and wife, Linda, of Homosassa; sister, Marjorie Leonard Warner of St. Pete Beach; two grandchildren, Pamela Mather of Reddington and Christopher Mather of Homosassa; great-grandson, Iann Anthony Mayer of Homosassa; and a niece, Barbara Werner of River Falls, Wis.

Robert Richardson, 84 Hernando


Robert Tyler Richardson, 84, of Hernando, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005, at Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center in Crystal River.

Mr. Richardson moved to Hernando in 1985 from Liberal, Kan.

He received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Army.

He was a truck driver by trade for various trucking companies and he retired from Yellow Freight Trucking Company in 1985.

He was a member of Fountain of Life Restoration Ministries.

Survivors include his wife, Fenola Richardson of Hernando; daughter, Sherri Barclay and husband, Charley, of Hernando; four stepsons, Leonard Fisher Jr. and wife, Pastor Sonya, of Beverly Hills, Jackie Fisher of Tarpon Springs, Fenton Fisher and wife, Mercedes, of Tampa and Eddie Ray Fisher of Tarpon Springs; three stepdaughters, Jeanette Aaron and husband, John, of Clearwater, Dorothy House of Holiday and Marilynn Fisher of Tarpon Springs; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the Fountain of Life & Cathedral of Faith In Action Ministries Church Family.

John Terrien, 58 Homosassa


John Donald Terrien, 58, of Homosassa, died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005, in Inverness.

Born July 6, 1947, in Pasadena, Calif., to John and Sara Terrien, he moved to this area in 2002 from Houston, Texas.

Mr. Terrien worked for more than 20 years with KCE Structural Engineering, Washington, D.C., as an architect.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sara Terrien.

Survivors include his wife, Linda J. Terrien of Virginia Beach, Va.; two daughters, Rene Terrien of Homosassa and Rikki Terrien of Miami; his father, John Terrien; brother, Donnie Terrien of Richmond, Va.; sister, Judy Terrien of Houston, Texas; and two grandchildren.
