Hi Bruce,

So sorry it has taken me almost 2 years to reply!
You are correct Mary Ann Adair Fiddis is one of 7 daughters & 12 children of Thomas & Ellen (nee Adair). Thomas & Ellen along with their first two children Margaret & Elizabeth arrived in New Zealand (Port of Otago) 4th Speptember 1874. They departed from Glasgow Scotland on the 11th June 1874. I have found Thomas & Ellen's marraige certificate & her parents. Found the immigration passenger list to New Zealand but no birth or any other record for Thomas so I am at a lost to who his parents etc were. Also have been unable to find the death certificates for Thomas & Ellen's first 2 children but have for the rest.
