Hello Russell,
I am related to Helen MINTY who married William FIDDES/FIDDIS, she was my Pat. 2nd cousin four times removed. I have information on Helen's line back to William MINTO c1700's. I was most interested to read your message, saying that there has been a book written on the FIDDES family, is this book still available and from whom can I purchase a copy? I have just been in touch with 4 new people off the message boards, that have been able to fill in more of my blanks on the FIDDES lines. So am willing to share information in exchange for some that I may not have.
I have the burial place of Helen and William FIDDES, as Chesley Cemetery, Elderslie Township, Bruce County, Ontario, Canada, from the Cemetery Inscription book, where did you get your information from?
