Hi everyone!

For the last five or so years I've been researching the Farris' in the
eastern part of TN. My gggrandfather's name was George Washington Farris s/o
John K.Farris and Mary Bales.
I've also been trying to glean information on the McCartys, also from
eastern TN. So far, my quest has lead me to Campbell, Claiborne, Grainger
and Union Counties in Tennessee where most of my family originated.
Scattered throughout these branches are Sellars, Stouts, Sweats, Weavers,
Sharps, Petrees, and on and on.
I hope we have a fruitful journey together and I'm more than willing to
share my information and help where I can. Here's to a pleasant trip back.
