There is also a Pontotoc County in Oklahoma which was a Farris Strong hold
for a number of years, I don't have my atlas in front of me but I also
believe in that same county in Oklahoma is a town named Farris.
Check it out. My family went fron York, S.C. to Ark. then to Oklahoma, my
sister was born in Chickasaw Oklahoma.
