Generally, you did right. However, it is always possible that an error in
a computer/program may foul up a database as will as a backup made from it.
In that case, an earlier backup might reduce the amount of loss.

If you desire to retain earlier db backups, you might change the zip file
names maybe to something with a date indicator, like fam4-97.zip.

Another easier way is to use a different floppy in drive A, alternating
which one you backup to. If you do that, you should write the date or a
number on the disk to indicate which is the latest. I generally
sequentially number the disk backups, then do backups to the oldest one each
time.
