You can ignore my last email - finally someone local figured it out.
A file had been added by someone with nothing to do but infect
computers - made it look like a system file (checked Task Manager).
Disabled it until he can get over to remove it; was using 77% of my
CPU usage. Now Eudora and everything else is working again!
