I posted this query two days ago and it has yet to post, so I
will try again. I am seeking the correct name of my
great-grandfather, Henry Eubanks. I am descended down through his
son, Robert Lee Eubanks. I have recently connected for the first
time with a first cousin whose father is Robert Lee's son. He
remembers that his grandfather's name was Henry Eubanks. He believes
that his middle initial may have been L. Henry's wife's name was
Sarah or Sally. He married a woman by the name of Alice after she
died. They lived around the Wiley, Murphy, Plano, and the McKinney
area in TX. They were farmers. Henry's father came by wagon train
from the Ozark Mountains somewhere near Pottersville AR and settled
in the community called Murphy. Henry's father was full blood
Choctaw and married a woman with the last name Eubanks. Henry had
thirteen children. A few of there names were Doe Eubanks of Wylie,
TX, Archie, Katherine, and Neoma, Jim, Robert Lee, Nolan, Estelle
Eubanks-Boone of Dallas, Herman of McKinney, and Alice. All the
children of Henry are deceased now except Estelle. She is the
youngest and lives in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas and is married to
Jim Boone. All this information was emailed to me by Robert Lee's
granddaughter. So I hope I have transferred it correctly here.
I hope I have given enough information that will help someone
figure out from which line of Eubanks that we descend. It would be
through Henry's mother who was a Eubanks, since her husband took on
her family name as their last name
