I went to the US Veterans Gravesite locator in the US.
Raymond E Winkler born 1916, Kentucky was not on it. There were two other Raymond E Winler, one born 1908 in Kansas, and there was another born in in 1920. I did see he was Killed in Action, but it didn't say where. If Sicily it seems he was buried there. Also where did you get that information he died in Sicily,somebody must have had that information.
Go on the internet and type in SF form 180 for military records and you get a downsite site. Download it, fill it out, and sent it to the address I mentioned before.That is the only way I think you can get that information.
