Hi Cathy,

'Roneo worker' is most likely correct - the copier company, Roneo, had a
huge presence in Romford for decades and the area where its factory stood is
still known as Roneo Corner.

HTH,

Donna
(who grew up 'round the corner' and saw the original factory go up in
flames)

The occupation of Birt Maurice Aylett, age 17 in 1911 was apparently
'bones worker'. The transciption in Find my Past was 'roneo worker'
which doesnt seem right.

Any idea what a bones worker was? Or is my interpretation wrong?

thanks
