Subject: [Ess] Marriage on day world war 2 broke out

Hi there, I now know that my Parents were the first ones to get married
in the church they got married in on 3rd September 1939. My next
question is, how do I find out whether they were the first ones in ESSEX
to get married on that day please? The register of the times of
services were lost in the war but the Essex Record Office looked up the
register book for me and confirmed that they were the first ones to get
married in that church on that day.
What is the next step for me to find out that answer please?
Thanks very much for any answers that you might be able to give to me.
Diane
