http://www.thegenealogist.co.uk/moreinfo.php#nonconformist
has a large number of non-conformist records - unfortunately, you have to be a subscriber even to search but
ISTR they once gave me a trial sub for two weeks when I emailed them to say I was not going to subscribe until
I knew that there were records there that I wanted.
Might be worth a try

I have ordered in a film for Brentwood where he was suppose to be from but discovered he was not on the said film. Then I discovered that South Weald also recorded some births/baptism for Brentwood, however when I went to order in a film for a Congregational Church in the said Parish/es the film turns out to be restricted. So I then contacted the Essex County Record Office and they weren’t able to help me too much. A suggestion was made that maybe Kew might hold non-conformist records for Essex. Can someone please enlighten me if this is so. I need to some how get a look at the said baptism for Samuel in 1810 on a non-conformist list. Any other suggestions in finding this elusive ancestor will be greatly appreciated.
