The LDS library catalogue, on the familysearch site, shows that they hold
films of the parish registers for The Parish Church of Leyton, i.e. St.
Mary's church. The PRs are held at the Vestry Museum which is in
Walthamstow but the LDS have microfilmed them at that museum.

The Museum does not offer a research service, it only has a tiny staff as it
is a very small museum. It is the local archive for the London Borough of
Waltham Forest which takes in Leyton as part of it's area.

Make a place search of the LDS library catalogue for Leyton part of Essex,
as it was originally in Essex not London, and then select Church Records
from the list of subjects available. You should then find a list of items
for Leyton church records including the Parish Register for various year
spans. Follow the links until you reach a page giving the relevant film
numbers to order by.

You will find the address of your nearest LDS centre by going to the home
page of the familysearch site where there is a section on finding centre
addresses around the world.

St. Mary's Church, Leyton in 1814?
I am trying to prove or disprove that my relation ELIZA BELSHAM (sometimes
spelt Belcham) born in Leytonstone
and baptised in Leyton on 15th May 1814, and another Eliza Belsham who
migrated to Australia in 1833 are one and
the same person.! <<
