An interesting one that.
I made the assumption that in 1911 South Woodham Ferrers did not exist and just entered Woodham Ferrers this found Chappel Row and Other Establishments.
Chappel Row did not seem very likely so I looked at Other Establishments, this has a number of farms plus 3 establishments that are just under Woodham Ferrers
One is a John Heeley and wife, meat & provision dealer
One is actually at Holclerkes Farm and is Joshua Hawes and family
The 3rd is Emma Grout and her son in law Louis Cooper (farmer) and his family
Any of this match with the people in the 1901?
If not who was there then? have you searched for them?
Cheers
Steve

I have the census returns 1871-1901 (ie those with my lot on), and was going to get the 1911 entry and any earlier ones I could find. However, on going to FMP, I can't persuade their search engine to find the place. The problem may be that it uses street name as a search term, and the place was miles from anywhere. Plus I don't know who was living there - time to check Kellys, I think.
