Is he in your family? The Wanstead PRs on line at SEAX don't start
early enough for more information..

In 1841 & 51 he has grandson Edward RIDLEY bc 1836 Kent Rd Surrey,
presumably son of William RIDLEY & Mary Ann TEDDER m 17 November 1833
Bethnall Green.

I believe he is my ancestor but there are other William Ridley with wife
Mary Ann living in Camberwell in all census. Edward has never been with
his parents in a census. 'My' Edward was born 31 Mar 1837 & bap 11 June
1837 St Giles Camberwell and when he died in 1911 his will named a
brother William.

I am trying to find his family.

I have sent this to Essex & Surrey sorry if you get a duplicate.
