You certainly have a bit of a problem at that distance !
Another route to find a reliable researcher may be to
take a look at the website for The Association of Genealogists and
Researchers in Archives
which you can find at http://www.agra.org.uk/
I have not needed to make use of their services myself as I live only
a few miles from The National
Archives at Kew, but I have heard that they are reliable.
