Hello Anne

The 1841 census has a William Hutton and family with a presumed daughter
aged 15 (so born about 1826) in Layer de la Haye [HO107; Piece 342;
Book: 5; Civil Parish: Layer de la Hay; County: Essex; Enumeration
District: 10; Folio: 17; Page: 3; Line: 24]
The same William Hutton appears in the 1851 census and both he and his
wife and all of their children still at home were born in L de H, so I
assume Ann was too.
A census search on Ancestry for any Ann born 1825-9 in 'Layer' brings up
one interesting hit in 1861 [RG9; Piece: 1103; Folio: 35; Page: 6]
William and wife with widowed daughter Ann Munson. Someone has posted
an alternative name of Hutton for her. Two people have pasted her into
their tree, and there is a Munson message board.
From your original post you may of course have followed this route
already. Although Ann is shown as a widow aged 36 there are no Munson
grandchildren listed.
As you say, FreeBMD doesn't have a Munson / Hutton marriage - indeed
there is no marriage in Essex for an Ann Hutton earlier than 1890.
Layer de la Haye is in Lexden RD. Again there are no likely marriages.

Why do you *know* Ann was married in Essex 1843-51?

What else do you already know?

Dick
