Thanks for making me aware of the additions to SEAX last month.
However, does anyone know why the PRs for Kirkby are not obtainable except
by personal visit to the record office?
It's particularly frustrating for me, as I'm looking for LAYs and NORTONs in
neighbouring Walton & Thorpe - and the church in Walton fell into the sea
cir 1796 with parishioners travelling to Kirkby until a new church was built
by cir 1804... So that's both Kirkby & Walton records for that period I
can't access!!!
Kind regards,
Jacqui
