Perhaps posting the details that you do have here would help us to help you.

Not all FreeBMD transcriptions are accurate. Transcribers are only human
and have trouble reading handwritten or even typed images. The names
might have been transcribed incorrectly. There are many opportunities
for transcription errors to be made between the event being originally
registered and it winding up on an image from the GRO. A bit of creative
lateral thinking might be required to find your missing couple.
