Subject: [Ess] ANDREWS alias WHITING / WHITEN – Great Sampford
Date: Sun, 30 Nov 2008 23:11:08 +0200

Hi Listers,
I wonder if anyone could shed some light on the ANDREWS alias WHITHING /
WHITEN family.

Has anyone researched them or does anyone know the origin of the 'alias'?

I am particularly interested in the family in Great Sampford in the early
1600s (where I've found a few but not all of the people I'm looking for).
They also spread to Radwinter by the mid-1600s. Does anyone know of them
anywhere else in the area?

If this distinctive surname rings a bell with anyone, I can provide more
details of exactly whom I'm looking for.

Regards,
Zoë
