To add to what Jacky has said about ordering from ERO.

I found an item on SEAX which said pedigree sometimes with notes, and then
listed several families. I was interested in one family in particular
although several other names mentioned also tied into my family.

So I emailed to ask how much it would cost so that I could order it and send
a cheque to pay for it. In reply I was told that the document consisted of
over a hundred large sheets of paper and it would require 4 A4 sheets to
copy each one. I'll leave you to work out the cost!!!!

Fortunately, as Jacky said, the archivist at Chelmsford was extremely
helpful and went all through the document picking out the sheets that I was
interested in. It still cost me nearly 40 GBP. In my case it was worth every
penny.
