Subject: [Ess] Thoms GALLEY - 1871 Census
Date: Wed, 21 May 2008 18:16:25 -0400
I have just received a death certificate for a Thomas GALLEY, who died on
13NOV1876 at the Essex Lunatic Asylum in South Weald at age 46 years. The
certificate doesn't give much information, although it states he was a
"Labourer from Plaistow Marsh"
My gt-gt-grandfather, Thomas GALLEY was born in 1828 in Stisted, and in the
1861 census, he was living in Leigh, Rochester, Essex.
I would greatly appreciate a look-up in the 1871 census to determine if
these two are one and the same.
Any assistance would be most appreciated.
Dennis Galley,
Port Elgin, Ontario,
Canada
