I found someone who I believe is my cousin - given name and surname not common, age and place of birth were correct. But I never heard anything from the 3rd party who had posted the info, not even to say not the same. It was a shame because I've not seen her for roughly 43 years when we were both very small - she's split with her father and recently become a mother.

Just don't be surprised if people just don't respond. Makes you wonder why certain information is posted if not to find relatives.

great networking tool and a chance to see who is researching who. It's not
