Check the Federation website for the final date of closure: means that
FamilyHistoryOnLine site is shutting down.
National Burial Index (NBI) data is being transferred with permission from
individuals/societies. Some Burial data will not be transferred at all, so
could be lost unless owner/s have websites of their own - and I know of at
least one owner who used FHOL because they didn't have a website and didn't
know how to set one up. Their data will be unavailable after the closure.
Remember also there has always been a discrepancy between NBI data published
online and NBI data published on the Federation CD. Some owners have not
allowed publication on CD, others not allowed it online.
As far as I know FindMyPast is presently only geared up to take NBI datasets
so other datasets currently available on FHOL may not be transferred to
them. All such transfers have to have new Agreements signed. The existing
Agreement with FHOL becomes null and void.
GenFair has been hosted by S&N for some time. I don't know that start date.
