Just 'up the road' to where I sit typing this, about 3 miles to be
accurate, there was quite a large congregation of Peculiar People in
Thundersley. A large local builder [Wiggins] was one of their number
and built a row of bungalows for members in Kingsley Lane, I believe
they are now all in private hands - my cousin bought one several years
ago. The original meeting hall was in Daws Heath Road and a newer one
was I think opened a little further along that road.
There was also a large congregation on Foulness Island.
Regards, Gwyn
