Checked genesreunited after work today and there are a few, 1 1906, 2 1907
and 4 1908 but all basically unknown birth place. This is the problem with
females isn't it......The male line is always easier.
As to Edwin Martin nothing for 1876
As to Ethel, the only one for 1878 is born Australia
I have had massive luck on geneseunited. BUT yours - sigh !!!!!!!!!!!!
I did a quick census search but they all seem to be born elsewhere than
essex.......so you really need to get the marriage cert (for the father) or
something more concrete to narrow them down.
Happy to check for you at a later date - if you get the certificate of
marriage or some other info, feel free to remind me who you are and I will
search the censuses again
