Hello Essex,



I am new to the list and trying to find out more about my great grandmother Selina Temple B 1838 in Rochford.



Census 1841 age 3. South St Rochford (8 of 13)

She is with an apparently unrelated family named Douse.



Census 1851 age 13 (written as Selma) in Islington ?a school.

With her mother Harriet Temple age 40. Governess.



Selina married Eugene CANDLER in Marylebone in 1860 and I have her history from there onwards.



Also in Census 1841 there is a Harriet Temple age 4

South St. Rochford (4 of 13) with a family Trowbridge ?unrelated.



Whether she is related to Selina I do not know, but looks possible.



I cannot find any other reference to the young Harriet, or the mother Harriet ? maiden name.



I hope someone has some information they could send me of this family.
