James Clarke and Margaret Prior



I have long tried to find out details about my gt,gt grandparents reputedly
married at East Donyland nr Colchester in 1843.



I know nothing about either pre this date nor the actual date of the
marriage and marriage certificate although possible siblings of James were
mentioned to me some years ago, from our list. I have not been able to
verify these?



Has anyone any suggestions. Post 1843 James was a smack owner and fisherman
, who was seldom at home at th time of a census (he was registered at sea
and I have been able to find other information about him post 1843.



Can anyone help please?
