If you'd like a 4th opinion, or even if you wouldn't, I think
a) both entries say Eliza Fogg
b) Mountnessing is roughly 7 miles from Willingale, so no reason why she couldn't get from one to the other in an
evening
c) Norton Heath is part of Norton Mandeville, which is the next village to High Ongar, so her birthplace isn't too
contradictory, nor is her age of 66/67
d) her occupation in the Willingale entry is Agr Lab Widow, that is, Agricultural Labourer's Widow, which is not
contradicted by having no occupation in Mountnessing
e) both families put her on their form, just in case. Not many people fill in the form at midnight after a roll
call, do they? I certainly don't.
