I've found an Adelia Skinner, bn abt. 1842 in West Ham on 1851 census. Parents are William Skinner (abt.1801, Witham, Essex) and Harriett (abt. 1805, Witham, Essex). Adelia's siblings are Harriett (abt. 1835) and Emily (abt. 1839).
In 1861 census Adelaine and Emily are still with William and Harriett. William's mother is noted as Elizabeth. Also in the household is an Elizabeth Rogers age given as 8mths, but described as "mother".

1861: Class: RG9; Piece: 1054; Folio: 105; Page: 34

Looking for descendants of Adeline Edwards nee Skinner, bn ca 1844-1846 in West Ham.
Adeline married Henry Edwards, a wine merchant, ca 1867 and had the following children found on the
1871 census of Romford, 1881 census of Leytonstone, 1891 of Lewisham, London,
Henry, Claude, Adeline, Cyril, Eleanor and Raymond Edwards.
I descend from Adeline's brother George W.H. Skinner who moved to USA abt 1850.
Would like to find more on Adeline's parents.

Emily A. Skinner married Edward Walters ca 1868. 1871 census of Wolverhampton finds Emily, a boot fitter, and Edward, a cordwainer, with daughters Florence age 3 and Jessia age 3 months. 1881 census of Leytonstone, Emily's a widow living with her daughter A.F. age 15, and mother Harriot Skinner, age 74. 1891 census of West Ham, Emily is married to Charles Saward, a wine merchant. Daughter Emily F. Walters age 22, living withmother and stepfather. 1901 census Buckhurst Hill, Essex, Emily age 56, husband Charles Saward and daughter Emily F. Walters, age 32 I am descended from Emily's brother George H.W. Skinner who came to USA ca 1850. A sister of Emily's was Adeline Skinner Edwards, whose husband was also a wine merchant..Any information on their parents much appreciated. SallyLouisiana
