Henry Meadows is the GGG Grandfather of my contact.

Has anyone any ideas on this?

Thanks in advance

Well, if he is your uncle's Grandfather, presumably he is also your
father's (or mother's as the case may be) hence is your G Grandfather.

If I've got it right, that makes you the second cousin of your contact's
grandfather, which in turn makes him your second cousin "twice removed
downward". Your grandchildren (if any) would be his fourth cousins.

The way it works is that if one of your parents is a sibling of one of his,
then he is your first cousin. If one of your grandparents is sibling to one of
his, then you are second cousins. If one of your G Grandparents, you are
third cousins, and if one of your GG Grandparents then fourth cousins. The
"twice removed" comes from the fact that he is of the generation immediately
before yours. If he were of your children's generation it would be only "once
removed" and so forth.

Hope that helps.
