All,
it is not necessary to use the viewer named on the web page.
The files are completely standard TIFF format.
It is not a case of manipulating/converting the images.
What you need is a correctly configured/suitable browser plug-in.
Look for an application which includes a browser plug in for TIFF (and
other) image formats.
I use Paint Shop Pro but there are many others.

Hi folks, I hope everyone is enjoying Origins - I'm in Australia and I'm not
having any difficulty at all.
I see Chris is having problems with the images, I have much the same
problems the last time I used Origin but I downloaded their viewer that they
recommend and all the census pages, etc come out perfect. Maybe it is the
only way to get the images.
Regards
Maree
