Many, many thanks for your very generous offer. I have one family which
seems to have blocked me - if I list them and where I think they were born,
you may be able to check one or two as you sink chin high in old bits of
paper!!

James POWELL b.1804 - Stock, Essex [or could be West Hanningfield]
Mary POWELL nee SPARROW b.1805 - Childreditch, Essex
James POWELL b.1831 - xx, Essex [could be West Hanningfield]
Henry POWELL b.1833 - West Hanningfield, Essex
Marriott POWELL b.1835 - xx, Essex
Charles Sparrow POWELL b.1837 - Leigh, Essex [maybe late 1836]
Charlotte POWELL b.1839 - East Horndon, Essex
John POWELL, b.1842 - East Horndon, Essex
Samuel POWELL b.1846 - East Horndon, Essex

Perhaps some of these places are Registration Districts and others maybe
towns. Quite a bit of this information was taken from census papers and
therefore the year born could be out by a year.

Thanks again for your wonderful offer and even if you are only able to look
for one or two, I would be most grateful. I can then try to work further on
any bit of info I get.
