I have another 1871 look-up if it`s possible.
I have looked for this one before, but without success. William was born in
Newsham, North Yorkshire, Eliza in Chelmsford, Essex. They were married in
1868 in Bethnal Green. William at this time probably worked on the railway,
so I suppose could be anywhere in the country.
This off the 1881 census.
14 William St Darlington
William Carter head mar 43 Railway Porter Yks Newsham
Eliza Carter wife mar 39 Chelmsford, Essex
Mary H Carter daughter 3 Darlington, Durham
Christopher George Carter son 2 Darlington, Durham.

Thank you for any help with this, which is my direct line. William being my
gt grandfather.
