Please does anyone know of a good site for old occupations? I thought I had
one & have tried a couple via search engine but not found linner.
I am sure it is to do with weaving or cloth - his father was a webster
(weaver) and the transcription of the marriage settlement of for Thomas s
of Thomas FULLER & Mary REYNOLDS dau of Richard [SEAX}. I don't think it is
linen as they were in Saffron Walden which was a wool centre. Claypit House,
Gt Bardefield was the settlement 'gift'.
Thanks
