I can only help with the Gendocs site.
There is a wonderful site called the Wayback Machine which has archives of
thousands of URLs which are no longer in existence. You do need to know the
URL of the original site you want to access, but if you don't know it then
you can often find it via google.
enter the URL (remembering to delete http:// if necessary because you only
need it once in the address)
