Why not just use http://www.oldmaps.co.uk and print the localities that
you are interested in?

Or http://www.archivemaps.com/mapco/lewis/lewis.htm

If you are in the situation I am in with Essex, Northumberland, County
Durham, North Yorkshire, Staffordshire, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall, so
far, it could get expensive.
