Just realised I'd forgotten to look in my big, three county, directory
1925-6, no sign of Louis there, however, there is a George Slaughter, shop
keeper in the High Street Wivenhoe. Perhaps Louis was his son - or
father? - and was never listed as a photographer in his own right....?
